If you want to do this at ply 11-12 you will need >some passer push extensions. I agree that an enormous bonus for connected passers on the 6th is a mistake. If you put the king on c1 or something, the passers are dead. If you are going to do it, there has to be a lot more than just "two passers wins". If you do it this simply, you can turn a win into a loss. If you are up a rook, and have the chance of getting two passers, you are probably in pretty good shape. Wac #2 is kind of pathological in that the only way to win is by sacrificing the rook. So I agree with you. bruce
