I think that Bob is already 'partnering' with a lot of authors :-) This works 2 ways: 1) people look at Crafty and take pieces or ideas and add them to their own engines. 2) people contribute code to crafty. I think (1) happens quite a bit, not sure about (2). I think the best place for sharing ideas is on ICC, I've spent many a long hour there chatting with various authors including Bob Hyatt, Bruce Moreland, Vincent Diepeveen, Andrew Williams, Peter Kappler, Steffen Jacob, Dieter Buerssner, Scott Gasch, Steve Timson, Andrew Dados etc. Peter
