If I follow the HV, the mate gets shorter (first 18, then mate in 17 - counted
from the root postion).
Rb1 and Ra1 lead to the same HV.
Other moves win, too. I checked Bc7 and Bf4, and found mate score.
For example after Bf4 (this one done with prefilled hash tables):
69423357 1:10.6 -Mat22 15. 2. Re7 Rd2+ 3. Kh1 h3 4. Rf7+ Ke5 5. Rg7 Rd5 6.
Rg8 h2 7. Re8+ Kf6 8. Rf8+ Kg5 9. Rh8 Rd1+ 10.
Kg2 Rg1+ 11. Kf2 h1=Q 12. Rxh1 Rxh1 13. Ke2 Bg3
{EGTB} 14. Kd2 Kf4! 15. Kd3 Rh5 16. Kc4 Be1 17.
Kd4! Rg5 18. Kc4 Ke3! 19. f4 Rf5! 20. Kb3 Kd3!
21. Kb2! Rb5+! 22. Ka2 Kc2! 23. f5 Ra5#! {-770}
The mate scores have to be interpreted as lower bound - there can be faster
mates.

Dieter
