Thank You./Bill Dozier I have so many Gateway computers that it's ridiculous, everything from a simple one for a kid, to a 4-processor server that was at one time the top of Gateway's business line. Whenever I call Gateway, they can easily figure out that I am a multiple repeat customer, and treat me reasonably. However, I dread calling Gateway more than any telephone experience that I can think of. A half-hour of wait time I would consider a major success, if you want technical support. Of course, if you want sales, there is no wait. I finally said to hell with Gateway when they made ominous noises about charging me to even talk on the phone, and when they started charging me sales tax on mail-order stuff, just because they have a few failing stores in my state. I don't need that kind of nonsense. Now I buy my stuff from a local store. If the thing breaks, I throw it in the back of my car dump it on their front counter, convince them that I actually own it and didn't steal it, and they fix it. The computers also cost a heck of a lot less for the same configuration, since they don't waste money advertising on national TV. *That* company gets my repeat business now. bruce
