Subject: Concerning a Yellow Card for TC

Hi Amir, Dan and Bruce:
I fully adheres to the sentiments expresed by Detlef in order to be more
forgiveness with Thorsten. It seems that he is going at full speed towards a red
card and that means another guy will be lost for us.
It is truth that Thorsten has gone beyond limits this time and that you are
there as moderators to stop these things; I know also that you have warned him
several times. I know the rules: no insults, no personal attacks, etc.
Nevertheless, rules are just an area for the examination of behaviour, NOT a
definite line. There is space to measure other kind of things. Yes, TC has gone
too far sometimes, but he is one of the most productive fellows here, he post a
lot of stuff, many of it very entertainning even if he is mistaken or goes
beyond what most of us could deem as rational. It is clear that his broadsides
are more the result of temperamental outburst than the result of a perverse will
to insult or malign. Sometimes he is not even worst in that area than many of
us, but just he is more sincere and direct. I have seen many posts where
educated words hide even worst insults.
Any case, although I am more easygoing and calm, -but remember I am 49 years old
and at this awful age you just save your energy for things more pleasant than
words wars- I do not feel myself entitled to blame anybody. I do not forget that
we are, from the sheer fact of our weird interest, a mad, freaky, crazy-as-horse
bunch of people and so I would not hope and wait too much delicacies and charm
from anybody here.
Let's forget T bombs. They are even funny at times. And besides he is right
sometimes.
Fernando
