15.Be4 dxe4 16.Ng5!?

[D] r1b1k2r/1p1n1p1p/p1n1p1p1/4P1N1/1q2pQ2/2N5/PPP2PP1/2KR3R b kq - 0 16

This move is quite interesting. Black has to respond with the ugly
looking move 16...Qf8 because 16...Sdxe5 17.Nxh7 is devastating and
16...Rf8 17.Ncxe4 is not really an option.
After 16...Qf8 17.Ncxe4 h6 is forced.
Now 18.Nf6+! (18.Nxf7 is possible but no at all clear) Nxf6 19.Qxf6 Rg8 20.Rxh6
Qe7 (20...Qg7 21.Rh8!! +-)21.Ne4 Qxf6 (21...Bd7 22.Rd6! is a winner. 22...Kf8 is
no defence) 22.Nxf6+ Kf8 23.f4 with huge compensation for the piece.

Why is this of any interest?
Because there exists an improvement in main line. Maybe not a very impressive
one and I doubt someone would try it:
16...Kd8
Black try to give up whole kingside to get his King out of fire. His plan is Kc7
and later on Kb8,Ka7 or Nb6. 17.c3 Qe7, 17.Qxf7 Kc7 and 17.Qf6+ Kc7 18.Qxh8
Qxe4 are possible continuations.
