Yes, there are three main eval issues here that influence the result. 1. A piece pinned to the queen (after Qxf1 Rf8) 2. Connected passers!? (after Rxf1 Bxa4) 3. King safety (halfopen a-file after Rxf1 Bxa4) The old Dos-IsiChess played Qxf1 and lost against Comet (few years ago). But of course that's no proof that Qxf1 is really a looser here. But i think Rxf1 is better.
