I have a new version of Terra with threaded code. One thread mostly blocked, waiting or input and the other thread is the engine working. I'm very puzzled about the CPU time that Windows Task Manager displays. When I play with "ponder on" against my earlier unthreaded version (or other programs) I get only about 33% CPU time for the new version and 66% for the old one. Normally with "ponder on" I get about 50/50 in CPU time. What is the problem??? Peter
