Ed reported 3 plies in the middle game and 2 plies in the endgame in one of his last posts. I also has pruning based on evaluation and other factors but I do not do it in the way that Ed does(I get more than 15% speed improvement from my pruning but I also take more risks). I did not compare nodes to depth in my tests but only time to solution. Uri
