Hi Tord, hi Fernando,

I agree with both of you that it would be best if Thorsten could stay within
CCC, posting no doubt interesting computer chess stuff hopefully in a peaceful
way.

I do *not* agree with you that as long as he does post interesting stuff, he can
be as agressive, contemptive and offensive towards others as he likes or tries
to define for his very special purposes. I hope you don't find all that quite
harmless for the simple reason you do not belong to his favorite targets. ;-)

I fully subscribe to the view that what he did here over weeks (and not just in
one or two single cases) is simply a case for moderation, and thank the
moderators for moderating - while obviously not(!) aiming especially at
Thorsten, but rather in the sense of making *no* *exception* especially designed
for him, while he violates rules and spirit of CCC - what he has done heavily
and repeatedly from my view.

As soon as the like would be tolerated within CCC I would have to regard CCC as
an unmoderated forum, wide open for slanderous and offensive posting.
In this case I would immediately have to leave. I guess some others too...
The main reason for founding CCC was being able to talk about computer chess
without having to tolerate mean personal attacks.

I still hope that Thorsten might return to showing at least some good will, to
come back to peaceful posting and settle the situation. I am very open to accept
him like anyone else from the very moment he stops bothering others and other's
convictions like he got used to do since a while now...

Kind regards
from Dirk
