Subject: Acronyms ???

Some of to-day's postings have been totally unintelligible for anyone who is
unaware of the meaning of acronyms commonly used by chess programmers.

All experts use them - whatever their field - but their use excludes the
uninitiated.

I've no way of judging whether researching their meanings will be rewarding or
not and no way of knowing where to look for clarification.

Can anyone suggest how I might find or compile a glossary?

I could try asking here of course but I'm sure that would become irksome for
their users.
