I am interested if diep can beat it in calculating perft. You can download movei in the following link when you click download http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/ You can use it as a winboard engine to calculate perft click alt 1 to send winboard a command that you want. In the beginning of the game it may give you perft 7. If you want to calculate perft from a different position you can give it the position by file->paste position from clipboard and later calculate perft and it works for every position except positions when en passent is legal. for calculating perft in position when en passent is legal setup the position one ply earlier,go to edit game mode and do the move and then click alt 1. Note that I have a special program that calculates perft even faster that you download together with movei but this program cannot play and original movei is fast enough to beat every thing that I know in perft. Interesting to know if it also can beat Diep in the perft game. Uri
