Kasparov has plenty of motivation to win. Since Fritz is stronger than Junior, if Kasparov loses to Junior, then Kramnik is stronger than Kasparov. Obviously, this is not exactly correct, since in chess A beats B and B beats C, but C beats A, but it reinforces the notion that Kramnik is stronger nonetheless. If Kasparov loses, it looks really bad. Roger
