In Russia v. Rest of the World in September of 2002, Kasparov, in decided games, lost 3 and won 1, losing to Judith Polgar, Akopian and Ivanchuck, and beating Shirov. Kasparov is far from invincible in tournaments or matches, witness his recent match loss to Karpov (four games at 25'+10"). RUS vs. ROW Moscow RUS 2002 in my database from TWIC.
