Hi,

one of my colleagues at work uses KDevelop to work on a >200000 lines project
(edit, compile, debug). Seems to work well for him.
You could also have a look, if Sun, IBM or Trolltech offer an IDE for Linux
(I'm not sure if they are free, though).
