By comparison, it is the same as if you want to buy a better car, a better computer, a better TV, and yes, even a better chess program. If you have some money to spend for yourself, and think it is worth your time to spend it on something, there is no harm in treating yourself to something better as long as you're not hurting anyone. jorge jorge
