Hi,

I have been only a passive reader of CCC since the beginning, but today I feel
the need to speak.

I love chess and computer chess (even being a Macaddict, one can love computer
chess ;o) and I'm interested in people talking about this with heart and soul.
Who are they in this group ? They are too many ! Thorsten is (was) one of them
(even though he doesn't use Mac :-).

This is a very sad new.

Yes, Thorsten seems to be hot-tempered : he fights to defend what he loves, he
fight to convince he's right, maybe in harsh way because he's realy invested in
this hobby (is it a hobby for him ?) : he IS interesting.

Maybe I missed several posts, but I cannot remember words that insulting
(outside schools). Is it possible to see examples ?

I can't see any adult way of reasoning in this sentence.
"You're stupid" implies "Boooh ! Bad, bad boy : go to corner, I'll tell your mom
!"
It reminds me my 4-years-old son...

How many people ?
2 ? 5 ? 10 ? 100 ?
"He kicked me in the leg,ma'am, and he said I'm stupid, snif"

I'm sure you're sorry : but the Law is the Law, and the Law says
"Throw out any bad boy, even if he's one of the most interesting, we don't want
any bad boy in here."
Great and tough is the Law.

What would be the ration between these two populations ? It would be interesting
to know...

I'm afraid that we're seeing another example of lobbying, child of democracy.

I wish you good luck in your moderator role, bruce, sincerely.
