If you add one hughe pile of horse dung on top of another smaller pile of horse dung, the calculated average height of the two piles of horsedung will be higher than that of the smallest pile of horse dung. You could call that higher being "better". Even if you have two powerfull engines. What happens if you put together an engine that is tactically srtong and an engine that has more positional knowledge? Will the triple brain decide which assessment is more valuable? Or is it still as incapable as any of the two engines to do that? If you want a careful assessment of a position use a few engines in a row to see what they all think about it, and find out why. I guess from that moment on it's up to you to decide which course of action is wise, sir. http://home.planet.nl/~jimvandorp/download/sound/wise_course_of_action.mp3 J. J.
