I’ve ordered directly from ChessBase a number of times, most recently for Fritz 8, and separately for Shredder 7 and haven’t had any problems. I suspect there may have been a problem at their end with your attempted order. I suggest ordering again. I forget whether there is a section to add comments to your order, but if there is then tell them not to duplicate your order. Additionally send them an email to the same effect. I always save completed order pages as a web page and have that to send them as an attachment to an email if any problems. I was surprised at how quickly I received my two orders, here in Southern California, Los Angeles area, each in a week or less.
