But I would guess that, 1). This might be only a one-time occurrence, which happened to expose either a bug, or a short-circuit kind of problem/lapse in Fritz. 2). That if Fritz only had twice as much Mhz, i.e. 1.2 Ghz. that might have protected Fritz from this. 3). At time controls in which Kramnik played (or Kasparov), there would never be any such opportunity allowed by Fritzes (or Juniors etc.) play. Also 4). I didn't check it through, but maybe it's a win which involved too much risk for public performance by a famous GM, but might have done it at home.
