It's not a one-off; it's a system, albeit a perverse and bizarre one which could only work against a computer (see Tim Krabbe's Web site for examples played over the years by EN against various programs); ii. To the best of my knowledge nobody else has found anything similar which applies across programs, although the old c3-d4-e3-f4 setup came close. Whatever it is it is not the result of con artistry; it's more like a magic trick ... of no consequence outside a strictly controlled situation, but interesting nonetheless. Alastair
