This is the same for me. I don't understand why you can only use 1/2 of maximum hash for one engine in analysis/playing mode in an engine match with ponder off. In an engine-engine match with ponder off only one engine at a time is calculating, so why does the idle engine need the same amount of hash to sit idle, thus limiting hash it can use when it is calculating? Anyone know? Thanks.
