There are a few debugging things you can do, but they're not exactly "power user" stuff. If you add a [debug] section to your CM.INI file, you can add "NoAudio=1" to this section to COMPLETELY turn off audio. This is only used when people are having trouble launching the program to determine if it is a sound card issue. Also, if you add a [debug] section to your USER.INI file (I assume you know where that is), you can add a "Tutorial_Page=N" to jump to a particular page in a tutorial. This is strictly for debugging purposes, and can screw up a tutorial if you jump to a page that does not set up the board (i.e. it assumes the board will be set up by the previous page), or it can even crash the program.
