I don't think so. If you go to the official Kdevelop website you will see that
version 2.1.4 is supposed to fix that particular bug that I have described.
I guess the bug had not been found because they had tested on a system on which
it did not appear (maybe it is related to default PATH variable and that
variable is not set the same way under Mandrake and under RedHat).
But anyway this bug has been officially recognized and that's the only one 2.1.4
fixes.
Now 2.1.4 introduces another problem which confirms that they (the authors of
Kdevelop) do not test their creature on RedHat linux. That's very unprofessional
and I hope they will realize that serious testing is absolutely necessary.
I think this problem is also PATH-related, which would explain once again why
they did not find it on their non-RedHat systems.
The project manager genrates a script that is broken. When you try to make the
project, there is a Makefile that cannot be found.
To fix this you have to edit manually the config.status file and replace a
"./Makefile" by "Makefile".
You have to do that for every new project you create. I fear that I will have to
do it again every time I change an option in the project, because the script is
re-generated when you do so.
I'm not even completely sure that this fixes definitely this Kdevelop 2.1.4...
