Your "problem" is a feature in your BIOS. Check out your "wake on..." settings and adjust as you prefer. You don't need to mess with your UPS, or buy a UPS, for this purpose. After you change the "Wake on..." (ring and LAN) settings, be sure to save them when you exit your BIOS. If you just exit the BIOS, the settings will remain unchanged for the next time the computer boots up. Enjoy Fritz8, and your new computer.
