each time i auto play 2 comps against each other, after every few games, one or the other computer's chess programme gets stuck: ie the programme stops evaluating even though in all other ways it is still running ie the clock keeps ticking and the finally the game ends in a time out. this has happened to me quite frequently often in promising positions for one side. other than saving the game and returning to autoplay the game, (which i never find the time to do)there is nothing else i can think of. this happens more frequently when i am using the comp for somthing but also happens during overnight games. i have in fact stopped testing on 2 computers for this reason. as the results tend to be unreliable esp if so many potentially decisive games have to be discarded. do others have similar problems and if not what am i doing wrong?
