I want a scheme implemented wherein the moderators can put a poster on manual
delay, meaning that their posts are visible to the moderators, but are not
visible to the community until they are reviewed for improper content.

This would still be annoying to the person whose posts were deemed to need this
kind of review, but it has got to be a lot better than picking out the "the
reason you disagree with me is that you are too stupid to understand me, and by
the way you must have a small penis" posts after the fact.

Probably a lot less time consuming in the long run, spoken as someone who spent
well over twenty hours this week on CCC email and such.

It is a failure of the current system that we can't figure out a way to keep
someone who posts a lot of content and a little abuse.

I think this is not so common though, the other times we've had to get on people
they've either stopped doing what it was we asked them to stop doing, or they
were intent on getting kicked out of here to start with, so it didn't matter
that much.
