You can try 1.c4 e5 2.e4 if Fritz 8 is not playing 1...e5 any more.
If Fritz 8 plays 3...Nxe4 out of his book try 4.c5. he might play 4...exd4 5.Lc4
Bxc5.
bad luck if Fritz plays 4...Qe7. resign in this case.
If Fritz 8 plays 2...Sc6 you should consider to make some moves before you
resign. :)
