Numjug seems to be the number of moves played from the beginning of the game but in term of half-moves (i.e. plies). I was confused because, in my mind, ply correspond to the distance from a root search position to any position down the path. At the beginning of the search, ply=0. I wish we could be more precise in using "technical" words. I don't speak spanish (or catalan).
