To maximize the amount of CPU that the engines get: -- Close all windows except for the Game Status window (or you could even close that if you don't really need it). You may want to see what the engines are thinking via the Thinking Lines window, but this window takes 1-2% of the CPU. -- Do not use a True3D board/piece set. Using a 2D set is MUCH faster. -- Shrink up the size of the main application window so that it only has room to show the board. Depending on your screen resolution, this can save a few tenths of a percentage of CPU usage, because the app doesn't have to redraw as much with each update. jm
