Ruffian searched pretty fast up to depth 64 but unfortunatley he stopped searching completly at this depth. this seems pretty useless to me and I hope he will search to depth 100 in the next version. I have set up a slightly more realistic example and we had already the testposition with Qeen on b6 some weeks ago. [D] 8/k2n4/1p1p1p2/p1pPpPp1/P1P3Pp/7P/1RK5/1R6 b - - 0 1 if any program will ever be able to detect such positions without drawbacks it would defend closed worse positions much better and would gain reasonable strength.
