No Kramnik did srupid mistakes that he never or almost never do against humans at 120/40 based on his last few hundreds of games. The most logical explanation is simply that Kramnik lost on purpose. His reactions after the match also suggest that he lost on purpose. He did not admit even after the match that it was a mistake to resign in game 6. I expect a serious player to say about resigning in a position when there are practical chances for a draw that it was a terrible mistake and not to say that it was not a mistake because of the claim that Fritz could win with exact play(a claim that I doubt).
