If you are new to programming you have the possibiliy to choose whatever language you want. For learning an interpreted language would be best. <CORRUPTION_OF_INNOCENTS> There are some examples of languages coupled with courses that are very good. DrScheme and the book 'How to design programs', available online, coupled with 'The little Schemer'. Or you could use Win32Forth and Julian Noble's 'A Beginner's Guide to Forth' http://www.phys.virginia.edu/classes/551.jvn.fall01/primer.htm </CORRUPTION_OF_INNOCENTS> Both languages are interactive. They have minimal syntax. Forth is almost only Semantic. Thus you can check everything out as soon as you try it out. MvH Dan Andersson
