Subject: Windows XP, Partition Magic, and Running DOS chess programs

Hello I have a relatively new laptop that uses Windows XP as an operating
system.  I would like to partition a section with Partition Magic, Load DOS 5.0
on the partitioned area, and run some of my older DOS programs like MCP8,
RebelXP, HIARCS 7, etc.  Has anybody out there tried this and does it work.  I
would like to be able to run the DOS programs with the biggest hash tables
possible.
