Partition magic has a serious problem with windows xp.
Also there is a serious problem with windowsxp itself, when you try to install
an old version of windows on a differant partition.

It happened to me twice. Once with RHLinux installed on the same HD.
The second time I had WindowsMe installed on a same HD, both the time the
partition was done by PartitionMagic.

I had the link about this problem mentioned in Windows webpage, but I don't have
it now.

When I get it, I will post it.

For the time being I don't suggest using PartitionMagic with WindowsXP, even if
it says, it's windowsxp compatible.

cheers,
