I've used Partition Magic with windows XP to create a Win98 partition, and had no problems. It's covered in the Partition Magic info. You then use Boot Magic or similar to choose which Operating system to boot to when turning the machine on. A much more fun alternative is to use Connectix Virtual PC, and run the DOS programs in a window in XP. You can get a fairly lengthy free trial.
