Uh, well, more or less....

And, after all, Vincent isn't even an IM (and states in his finger notes that
his goal is to be an IM by 2005!). That's certainly better than I am, but it
almost certainly isn't able to compete against ANY comp in blitz. PERHAPS even a
comp running on 5-6 year old hardware, assuming the human in question doesn't
get a lot of time to prepare against the opponent....

But what would the contest prove (to the community at large) anyway? If Crafty
wins, all it did was beat an FM at blitz. If Vincent wins, all he did was win
against a non-commercial program running on 6 year old hardware.

Sounds to me like it isn't really worth the hassle any more. But it also sounds
like, as time goes on, Vincent has a better chance of winning....
