Beginner question: When I run a search twice using the same board configuration and up to a fixed ply it returns wrong results in the second time. If I increase the fixed depth by one in the second search the problem disappears. The problem is related to the transposition table and the values it stored in the previous search. Is this ok or am I doing something wrong ??? Because it could be a problem if the same position appears twice during the game... Thanks in advance ! Tiago
