Don, hello! I don't think that you are quite right. You see, I was Thorsten's
target once when he thought that I was actually Rolph Tueschen -- so he was
aggressive and sarcastic, but it was all INTELLECTUAL -- you see, I always try
to separate the content of what is said and the person who said it and her/his
motives and T's motives had always stemmed from curiosity (not malice or hatred)
and did verge on the impertinent. Thorsten thought in earnest that I was Rolph
and was bothered by the fact, probed me, teased me but did not try to insult me.
He is just not a very socially aware person, and seems to always speak his mind,
regardless of the consequences. Unfortunately this can offend people who do not
separate the intellectual content from the emotional overlay of a posting. Let
me get back to my experience with Thorsten -- once he found out the truth, that
I was not "Tueschen" he was apologetic and even contrite. When attacking
"Tueschen" he did not insult me, he was only aggressive and probing. And I am
always willing to put up with intellectual aggression and probing -- probably
learned that from my students. I'll definitely miss Thorsten, even though I did
not agree with most of the stuff he posted, what with his sophomoric dislike of
Fritz and ChessBase products as well as his adolescent infatuation with CST.

Regards,
Djordje
