In this case there are two scenarios: 1. The line that Chezzz finds (that is only correct for the first 6 ply or so), is winning too, and then it is a bad test position 2. The line that Chezzz finds is not winning in which case it might look good that Chezzz finds the first x ply, but it doesn't mean anything as it doesn't see the winning line. Of course, in practical play Chezzz would find the correct line as I've showed. But that may be luck. /David
