If you have a rating of approx 1400 (+- 300 :) in ICC in blitz, an engine with alphabeta, move-ordering with PV-move and MVV/LVA, and material+PSQ-evaluation probably beats you easily in a blitz game. At least that's how it is for me. :) It's incredible how many tactical mistakes humans make. And often they're just a few plies deep (like 3 plies + qsearch) That's the reason why my old stupid engine (handle 'Nincompoop' in ICC - believe me, the name fits...) has a rating of more than 2000 in ICC. And it _really_ plays stupid. :) Sargon PS. The funny thing about playing aganst your engine, that you're even more happy when you lose the game :)
