"> 50 moves"  ==> draw

That's a very confident call given that you only (?) have DTM EGTs.
May I ask what lines have been investigated to shorten the longest phase you
see?

The maximum phase-length is likely to be different with

- DTC EGTs [ Shredder 4, KT EGTs ]
- DTZ EGTs [ KT's originals, now deceased ]
- DTR EGTs ['Depth by The (k-move) Rule, a GH special, not done yet :-( ]

An <SR> strategy:
- minimaxing on DTR which optimises maximum phase-length regardless of 'k'

minimises phase-length for the winner and maximises it for the loser

An <S'R> strategy:
- filtering moves to value-preserving moves giving a short enough phase 1
- minimaxing on DTR which optimises maximum phase-length regardless of 'k'

does the same thing, within the constraint of keeping the current phase within
bounds, or as near to bounds as possible.
