I have not found any disadvantages to doing this, in either playing humans or other computers. Most people that had CM5K and up that I talk to agree. I knew CM5000 and CM5500 showed marked improvement with the WP setting. I was not sure about CM6000, but it seem to work much better here also. Some People joked that de Koning would improve CM6000 by using CM5500 with the WP settings. :) But it does not seem to be the case.
