I recall seeing the WP setting listed somewhere in a past post, but am unable to
find it. Would either of you gentlemen please post the WP settings for
Chessmaster series? To your knowledge, have Chessmaster's settings ever been
discussed with de Koning? I find it difficlt to believe he has *never* heard of
these more optimal settings.

I am speculating here, but I am wondering if the goal, in the default settings,
are deliberate to add flexibility to the program for the end user. From the
position as an end user, I have found it most rewarding to achieve a more
optimal setting by tweaking these ajustments. It is like a chess engine
construction set for the non-programmers :-). If the Chessmaster personality
were the utimate settings, what challenge could you aim for to personalize it.
Also, I think Mindscape has a very broad market, in mind, with the Chessmaster
series.
