Got CM9000 yesterday and was able to get TheKing 323 running just fine in Fritz 8 GUI thanks to Manfred Meiler's fine instructions on the Aaron Tay site. What is great about his/their setup is that you have all the parameters of CM9000 that you can set in the F8 GUI. Thus you can set up and save the various strong settings of Sedat and Utzinger and others who have posted on the board here and test them yourself, all in F8 GUI. I do have a question. Tablebases do not seem to work for TheKing engine in F8 GUI. I see no TB access in analysis window for TheKing when I should, as game is being played, and in engine games there is no TB access info given in the game (move) window once game is complete and you open it up for TheKing engine while there is for other engines. Seems to me TBs should work? They work in CM9000, but I think they are the Thompson EGTBs, not Nalimov, but haven't had time to examine yet. Any suggestions? Thanks! Christopher
