But you can't say that Chess Tiger is the real number one for having beat (slightly) all other is match. COnsider something like this Kasparov - Kramnick 0.5-1.5 Kasparov - Polgar 2-0 Kasparov - Shirov 2-0 Kasparov - Topalov 2-0 Kramnick - Polgar 1.5-0.5 Kramnick - Shirov 1.5-0.5 Kramnick - Topalov 1.5-0.5 Kasparov 6.5 Kramnick 6 Kramnick would have won all the "matches", including the one with Kasparov, but would have anyway been second in the tournament !!
