i have seen a number of mixed results between the various special settings and other programmes. hoever i have n't yet seen a single match between the default chessmaster and any of the special settings. i know that kut utzinger suggests that such matches are meaningless but i think they should also have equal considertion. sometime back when i conducted a tournament between cm 8000 vs all the special settings which were supposed to be ultra strong, i found to my surprise that, the default cm8000 personality seemed to be strongest!(it was a short match and hence unreliable;) i plan to do the same for cm9000 and i doubt whether cm9000 default will be weaker than any of the special settings.
