Matches between special settings vs the default Chessmaster 9000 are more or less a waste of time. I have mentioned this for many times from own experience. It might happen that the "best cm9 setting" vs other "cm9 settings" gets much worse results against other programs. For this reason I think the only way to find out if a special cm9 setting is stronger than default is to play vs other programs and to compare the score.
