Dieter, has nothing to with this thread but with Yace! I noticed that Yace went into time troubble in the CCT5 tie break games and I have a question about Yace's time handling. I understand that you load the big gun when the score drops and let Yace think for a considerable time. Is this really wise? In blitz anything can happen and the question is what the probability is that Yace will find a solution in just that move, compared to be able to slip out later on in the game. Maybe you should restrict the thinking time in blitz games. In longer games the effect isn't as serious on the reached depth as in blitz. Just a thought... /Peter
