It is an established fact in the field of creative problem solving that negative statements and personal attacks cannot be allowed. When problem-solving groups get together, they often have a set of rules posted nearby for everyone to see. The rules state in one way or another that negativity and personal criticism are taboo. If we want the CCC to be, among other things, a place for creativity, then we must have certain limits. I believe the moderators did what they had to do, it was a very difficult decision, and that when Thorsten can come back to the CCC (I hope such a situation presents itself) we all welcome him with *open* minds. -Jim Phillips
